Ard Amane

Land of water

The name Ard Amane translates literally in Arabic as "land of water", and it is a well earned moniker. The soil here is rich, and gives life to the extensive olive groves, shrubs and prickly pears.

The High Atlas mountains rise in the south, and fill the vista from East to West. The views of the mountains are compelling; as the sun travels across them through the day it picks out their shadows, and colours their peaks and valleys.
